DEMO Version 1.2 Development Log – Hooked In

Hi everyone,

This update focuses on fine-tuning the experience of the demo, particularly the prologue and early sections. After receiving some thoughtful feedback, especially around engagement and narrative pacing, I’ve made changes aimed at improving how the story opens and flows.

What’s New in v1.2:

• Reworked parts of the Prologue to enhance emotional engagement and pacing.

• Choice flags have now been implemented throughout Act 1 (subtle, but important for future route direction).

• Minor polishing of lines to ensure the vertical slice now better reflects the tone and momentum of the full vision.

I've taken all your feedback seriously and put a lot of care into strengthening the opening. I'm now much more confident that v1.2 delivers a rock-solid introduction to the world, characters, and emotional tone of the story.
